In addition to the Code of Conduct, BayernLB has formulated other key principles (ESG standards) for its services, relationships with its clients and partners, and for interactions with its employees. They are internally transparent for all employees and in many cases also for external partners and stakeholders.
National and international standards
Through recognising external national and international standards and voluntary commitments, BayernLB seeks to achieve two things:
- Firstly, by its signature and cooperation, BayernLB is supporting the objectives underpinning the relevant standards and initiatives. Thus, for example, the CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) advocates greater transparency regarding the climate-related risks of organisations, and the diversity charter advocates diversity in professional life – two objectives that BayernLB considers to be extremely important.
- Secondly, cooperation in these initiatives provides the opportunity for sharing and comparing experiences, thus providing essential impetus for the enhancement of measures within BayernLB.
