Bank stress test November 2018

EBA EU-wide stress test

2 November 2018

BayernLB has achieved solid marks in the latest EBA (European Banking Authority) stress test.

In the baseline scenario the capital ratio (fully-loaded CET1) was 15.5 percent in 2020. Even in the assumed tougher adverse scenario – which simulates the impact of an economic and asset price shock on European banks – BayernLB's CET1 ratio was 9.4 percent. The higher deductions compared to the 2016 stress test are primarily due to stricter stress scenarios and more stringent methodology.
